Agnes Grey
Presented by The Electronic Literature Foundation
Welcome to the ELF presentation of the Works of the Brontës.

Anne Brontë's work suffers the same fate today as it did when she was alive-- it is overshadowed by her elder sisters. The two novels she published before falling victim to the tuberculosis that took her sister Emily were Agnes Grey and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. The former is semi-autobiographical, as Anne was once employed as a governess.

We hope you enjoy this presentation of Agnes Grey.
